Scenery More Than Greenery Helps Improve WellBeing

Living in pretty cities can be a bigger health boost than setting up home in the countryside, research has found.  Experts say it is 'scenery' rather than 'greenery' across urban, suburban and rural areas which helps to create a positive environment and improve a person's physical and mental well-being. Although the quality of scenery is directly linked to how a person feels, some of the most scenic views tend to contain large proportions of grey, brown and blue - including suburban rivers and impressive, urban architecture - as opposed to vast areas of green.
